Account & Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete your VETO account and the personal data associated with it. You can do it yourself in the app, or ask us to do it for you.

Option 1 — Delete in the app (instant)

1. Open VETO and go to the Profile tab.
2. Tap Settings (top right).
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
4. Confirm. Your session ends immediately and deletion begins.

Option 2 — Request by email

What is deleted

• Your profile and account (name, email, profession, location, preferences).
• Your photos and uploaded media.
• Your messages, matches, likes, and arrangement records.
• Any submitted verification documents and identity-check data.

What may be retained, and for how long

Most data is removed promptly. Verification material is purged within 30 days. We may retain a limited set of records for a longer period only where the law requires it — for example, transaction and tax records, and fraud- and ban-evasion signals (such as a hashed device identifier) needed to keep removed bad actors out. These are kept no longer than necessary and are not used to contact or profile you.

Timeframe

In-app deletion starts immediately and completes within 30 days. Email requests are actioned within 30 days of verification.
